Currency
As in the whole Spain and most of the countries in the European Union, the currency in Granada is the Euro.

Coins: 1, 2 € and 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents.
Notes: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 €.
Tips
It is not "compulsory" as it is in other countries. However tips are usually given in the tourist industry (hotels, restaurants, bars) and taxi services. Around 1 € per person is a good tip.
Food timetables
As in the rest of Spain:
Breakfast: Between 8am and 10am.
Lunch: Kitchen service in restaurants is usually open between 1pm and 4pm, although some ones offer food even earlier.
Dinner: Dinner time is usually from 8.30pm to 11pm.
Climate
Climate in Granada is Continental Mediterranean. Temperatures are fresh in Winter, with night frosts, and hot in Summer, with maximum reaching above 35°C (95°F).
The temperature in September is around 21°C (70°F), with no rainy days.
