IEEE CIG is one of the most important conferences in Computational Intelligence in the (video)games environment, counting in previous editions with a number of high-quality contributions.
Moreover, some relevant competitions in this field will be held inside the conference.
We encourage the researchers in Computational Intelligence and/or in topics related with videogames to submit a contribution, or to participate in any of the proposed competitions.
Besides, those which attend the conference will enjoy the fabulous city of Granada (Spain).

The due date for submitting competition papers has been extended until 20 May.[10/05/2012] - Registration opens on 21st May

[19/04/2012] - 2K BotPrize Competition announced!
The famous 2K BotPrize competition for human-like bots for the first person shooter Unreal Tournament 2004 will be also held at CIG 2012.The description and details can be consulted in the Competitions section.
[19/04/2012] - Tutorial on MonteCarlo Tree Search
A tutorial on this recent search method will be included in the CIG 2012 program.A deeper description can be read in the Tutorials section.
[10/04/2012] - Deadline Extended!
Due to numerous requests, the deadline for regular papers submission has been extended to 29 April. This wil be the final due date.Note: Authors who have already submitted regular papers are allowed to resubmit revised versions up until the extended deadline.
